English Translation of letter of lawyer Ruud Vleugel to Jose Maria Sison,
31 January 2007

Dear Sir,

Enclosed I send you copies of two decisions. They came by chance on the same day.

First, the decision on the complaint of the SVB regarding the demand for reimbursement of your allowance ("uitkering"). Both the decision and the substantiation [of the decision] are not acceptable. Hence, I suggest to file an appeal against them in the court.

The second decision concerns the request I made with the Minister of Finance regarding granting you a certain amount per month to be able to take care of your living costs. That request is granted only for what concerns your being able to make use of your own means ("vermogen"). This too is a strange decision because I see no difference in the fact that you have your own means and in the situation that your means is reserved with the SVB with regard to unpaid AOW-benefits. All against this I would therefore want to make a complaint, if you think that it's good to do that.

I would like to hear from you soon.

With a friendly greeting,

R. Vleugel

PS: Can you also tell me how much money is in the said bank account mentioned in the decision.
