The book makes certain predictions about the Philippines on the basis of trends in 1969. The most important of these predictions is that the crisis of the ruling system would lead to a fascist regime, an open rule of terror, and that the revolutionary struggle of the people would grow in strength and advance. These predictions were proven true by further developments.
