The pro-Duterte radio and TV broadcasters who are bribed from secret slush funds and advertising contracts with government corporations and agencies and the troll armies of Duterte and Marcos use the same propaganda method of adulating Duterte and mercilessly attacking his opponents.
Right now, the pro-Duterte radio and TV broadcasters are even more influential than the now well-exposed and well-opposed troll armies of Duterte and Marcos. They influence passive listeners and viewers and lend credibility to the artificial popularity rating of Duterte in opinion polls that are outrightly dishonest or ask misleading questions in random sampling.
But the steadily growing protest mass movement and the declarations of respected institutions with large followings (like churches and human rights organizations) are proving to be more credible and more effective than the entire Duterte regime and all its official and unofficial propaganda instruments.
The fakeries and deceptions of the regime fail because it is culpable for the reality of rising prices, increasing unemployment, persistent corruption, tyranny, warrantless abductions, mass murder of mere suspects, involvement of the Dutertes in the drug business, sell-out to foreign interests and so many anti-people policies and crimes.
