No matter how the official economic figures are manipulated and falsified by the Duterte regime, the prices of basic goods and services are soaring and enraging the people against the regime. The regime has made the tax burden heavier at the expense of the consumers to raise more funds for the military and police and for the counterpart to the high interest loans tied with the overpriced infrastructure projects arranged between China and the corrupt Duterte ruling clique.
